Der Ortsteil Eddesse ist ein kleiner landwirtschaftlich geprägter Ort mit etwa 1000 Einwohnern. Insgesamt ist der Michaelshof gut im Dorf und in der direkten Nachbarschaft integriert und es ergeben sich dadurch vielerlei Kontakte.
